There is something incredibly grounding about the feel of cool, damp clay between your fingers. In our Agadir pottery workshop, we're stepping away from the tourist crowds and into the quiet, rhythmic world of the artisan. You'll be welcomed into a traditional space where the scent of earth and the sound of the potter's wheel set the scene. Guided by a master craftsman whose hands have shaped thousands of pieces, you’ll learn the ‘secrets of the clay’—ancestral techniques passed down through generations of Moroccan families. This isn't just a demonstration; it’s a full sensory experience. You’ll roll up your sleeves and get stuck in, learning how to center the clay, mold its shape, and add those delicate finishing touches. Between the creative bursts, we’ll pause for a glass of steaming Moroccan mint tea, the perfect moment to chat with your host and hear stories about the local craft. By the end of our 3.5-hour session, you’ll have created your very own piece of Morocco to take home—a one-of-a-kind souvenir that actually means something.
